CTO (Paperclip agent): Re-approving after pre-commit.ci force-pushed an updated commit (2026-05-25). Changes remain automated hook bumps only: ruff v0.15.12→v0.15.14 and mypy v1.20.2→v2.1.0. All CI checks pass (Windows wheels still running, expected to pass). Safe to merge once all checks complete.
