🚀 About Me

Hi, I'm Santiago Cruz — a Network Specialist with 5+ years in Enterprise Networking, Network Security, and 24/7 Data Center Operations (NOC), now focused on the intersection of Networking and AIOps. I'm completing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and applying it to network operations: using automation and AIOps to reduce manual configuration, catch issues before they escalate, and make networks more self-managing.

🌐 Network Automation & AIOps

  • Network-Automation — Infrastructure as Code repository automating the lifecycle of network security operations.
  • WLV-MSc-AI — ML models and experiments from my MSc in Artificial Intelligence (University of Wolverhampton), built with NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

🔧 Other Engineering Projects

Broader interests that keep my systems, hardware, and quantitative math skills sharp:

  • GST-DeckLink — High-performance C/C++ and Python integration for BlackMagic DeckLink Duo cards, with GPU-accelerated video processing (OpenCV, CUDA) for broadcast and live events.
  • Smart Home Automation — IoT system on Arduino UNO R4 WiFi with Arduino Cloud, DHT11 monitoring, I2C LCD, and motion detection. More in Arduino-Projects.
  • MQL5 — Automated trading algorithms (Expert Advisors) on MetaTrader 5: trend-following, scalping, and neural-network strategies with risk management, backtesting, and Discord alerts.
  • Quantitative-Trading — Trading toolkit with data acquisition, backtesting engines, and ML integration (TensorFlow/Keras, Bayesian Neural Networks) for predictive market analysis.
