Introduction

sprocketAR1S is a heavily modified evolution of Paul Sauro’s sprocketModern theme. It features a refined WPS with dedicated sleep-timer iconography, a fresh new lockscreen, and a dynamic bar at the bottom of the Main Menu that intelligently toggles between track metadata and system time. It is powered by the Rockbox-Mix font for full multi-language support.

Inspired by the StockOS interface of monochrome iPods, yet enhanced with modern design elements like a lock screen, playback mode icons, and a Now Playing bar on the home screen, sprocketAR1S blends these features to deliver a nostalgic yet modern experience for monochrome iPods.

sprocketAR1S comes in two device versions:
- iPod Mini
- iPod Monochrome (Gen 1-4)

sprocketAR1S has a minimalist version of itself called sprocket1Pod.

Settings

Warning

Switch "Disable main menu scrolling" to "off" if you want to enable scrolling text on the main menu.
This can be found in sprocketAR1S.cfg or by navigating to Settings -> General Settings -> Display -> Scrolling -> Disable main menu scrolling.
WARNING: Enabling this may break or brick the lockscreen if anything other than the Now Playing bar is scrolling.
