Just a few days before the 🎉1st Exudyn Workshop on Sunday, July 13, at the ECCOMAS Thematic Conference on Multibody Dynamics 2025, University of Innsbruck, we are proud to announce the new release.

Summary of key updates:
enhanced contact primitives (e.g., SphereSphereContact); streamlined API-interface, e.g., renderer harmonized in SystemContainer; new multi-threading taskmanager; new gear functionality; ball bearing utilities; cam follower for chains; Numpy 2.0 improvements; auto-Assemble(); non-integer steps; improved FEM features; raytracer options; many fixes.

This is the (internally) 5th release of the flexible multibody dynamics code Exudyn, integrating parallelized rigid and flexible bodies. It includes - other than many simulators out there - advanced implicit integration methods, Lie groups and much other state of the art methods.

This release is the first one to be derived from a previous commit to see integration in github.
