All the scripts used to improve the contents of the CTD-RDB for Argo DMQC in preparation for the 2021v1 version are stored in this repository. It does not include the scripts use to add new profiles.

The improvements are:

• Remove bad data:
• Remove bad samples (out of range and incomplete pressure-temperature-salinity triplets)
• Remove profiles that do not fit the selection criteria (out of box limits, shallower than 900 dbar, non monotonically increasing pressure)

• Remove duplicates

• Exact metadata duplicates
• Content duplicates
• Near metadata (nearby) duplicates.

Decisions on which profile to keep/delete follow the criteria described in the MOCCA report on the update of the CTD-RDB for the Nordic Seas (2019v1) with small modifications.
