### System Email and Password Reset

Clawith can send platform-owned emails for password reset and optional broadcast delivery. Configure SMTP in `.env`:
Clawith can send platform-owned emails for password reset and optional broadcast delivery.

Primary configuration path:

1. Open **Admin** → **Platform Settings** (`/admin/platform-settings`)
2. Go to the **Platform** tab
3. Fill **System Email Configuration** (From address/name, SMTP host/port, username, password, SSL/TLS, timeout)
4. Click **Save**, then use **Send Test Email** to verify delivery

Configuration priority:

- First: values saved in Platform Settings (`system_email_platform`)
- Fallback: SMTP values from `.env` (useful for local/dev bootstrap)
