What remains of the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy bound when ALL anthropocentric constructions are stripped away — units, logarithmic bases, the Archimedean continuum, even the choice of real numbers over p-adic completions?
This project investigates the definition of "area" and "information" as universal physical invariants without slipping into human-created constructs. It progresses from natural units (Planck scale as dimensionless ratios), through base-independent definitions of information capacity, to Ostrowski's theorem and the possibility that a truly non-anthropocentric physics must treat all completions of the rational numbers democratically — an adelic or multi-place formulation.

The maximum number of mutually orthogonal quantum states accessible within a finite spacetime region is a universal integer invariant bounded by the natural exponential of one quarter of the region's dimensionless boundary area — with the exponential defined without reference to any logarithmic base. Ostrowski's theorem challenges whether the Archimedean completion (real numbers) is the uniquely correct choice, suggesting an adelic reformulation may be more fundamental.
