I am a scientific software developer focusing on developing methods and implementing software for coupled multiphysics and multiscale simulations. I am a part of the preCICE project where I maintain several repositories. My educational background is in mechanical engineering, scientific computing, and software engineering. My most recent employment was at the University of Stuttgart. There, I worked in the Cluster of Excellence SimTech, and my research focused on developing adaptive, flexible software for multiscale coupled simulations. During this work, I pursued a doctorate at the University of Stuttgart. I am also interested in learning and spreading software sustainability practices. To this end, I have been part of the curation and teaching of the graduate-level courses Simulation Software Engineering and Research Software Engineering 102 at the University of Stuttgart.
I am currently seeking a position in academia or industry in simulation-based scientific software development.
