sysctl reload option

I am starting to use this module.
Is not clear from the documentation if the sysctl rules are applied or not by default after the configuration.

Which is the behavior?
Can you please update the documentation?

There is an apply parameter whose default value is true, so the default behavior is to apply the value live.
