Unable to activate switch

I have 2 chuangmi.plug.hmi205 plugs.

I've installed the HACS integration, rebooted HA, and added the necessary configuration.yaml data.

However, the switches are permanently stuck off, and not accessible. They are considered "unavailable" under the entities lists.

Am I missing something simple?

Same issue here. Maybe a recent software update on the plug side broke things?
