Namaste πŸ™πŸ½

I'm Vinayak Kulkarni β€” an open-source author from Pune, India, building developer tooling for the Vue & Nuxt ecosystem. By day I work on geospatial products at Invarya; by night I ship and maintain a stack of libraries that thousands of developers depend on.

If my work has saved you time, a sponsorship keeps it alive and actively maintained. πŸ’–

What I'm building right now

  • the-doctor.report + @geoql/doctor β€” a code-health auditor for Vue 3 & Nuxt 4. A zero-config CLI (npx @geoql/vue-doctor) and a hosted dashboard that scores your project, catches reactivity/perf/dead-code issues, and tracks the score over time in CI. Not linter theater β€” a real audit report.
  • nxui β€” 180+ animated, copy-paste UI components for Vue 3 & Nuxt 4. Built with Tailwind v4 + motion-v, installable via the shadcn-vue CLI. Free & open source.
  • v-maplibre & v-mapkit.js β€” MapLibre GL and Apple MapKit JS, done right for Vue 3.
  • janak β€” build Vue libraries without the tooling headache.
  • v-offline / v-pip and a dozen more small, focused Vue components.

I also contribute to Nuxt, Valhalla, and was an Emeritus core-team member of VuePress.

Where your sponsorship goes

My focus is DX and code quality β€” tools that make the next developer's job easier and teach industry standards along the way. Sponsorship directly funds:

  • Active maintenance + timely releases across the whole @geoql and vinayakkulkarni stack
  • Keeping the-doctor.report free and open for the community
  • New rules, integrations, and the hosted dashboard for the doctor suite
  • Software/tools I need to keep building

🐣 Sponsor Program

Sponsors get early access to WIP work and a seat at the table for discussions and direction in the early stages of new products. Your avatar shows up as a Backer on my major projects.

My goal: 5 monthly sponsors. I want to help prove that β€” especially from a country like India where traditional work culture still dominates β€” building in open source can be sustainable. Be part of that. πŸ™πŸ½

@vinayakkulkarni

Help me prove, especially in country like India which is 100% dependent on traditional work culture, that working in OSS is sustainable
