[hardware]: alert for failed power supply (bare metal)

It would be handy if there was a stock alert for if there was a failure of a power supply.

Did you try absent(up{job="node_exporter"}) ?

My servers have redundant power supplies, so if one is still functional the server remains up and node-exporter will still have content.

The ipmi exporter tracks them. I'm not sure about node exporter.

Ok. Can you write some queries for this exporter ?

Digging in a bit deeper. If you use the freeipmi tools true=0, but if you use the go native tools true=1. So this might be a bit too tricky at this time.
