Bundle.wixproj will not load

Thank you very much for putting this tutorial together.

I am having trouble loading any of the Bundle.wixproj projects. I get an upgrade notification from Visual Studio, but after the upgrade, it will not load.

I am using: Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 (64-bit) - Current
Version 17.13.6

I'll investigate. I got an error trying to load the Wix 4 .NET Core solution but can no longer reproduce it.

I doubt it's related but be aware that the latest VS introduces a build error that is not planned to be addressed. You can find the workaround in the Bundle.wxs build error issue.

I'm unable to get these projects to fail on load using VS Community. But here are some things to try.

• Reinstall HeatWave
  • The bundle project will fail to load if there's a problem with this extension.
• From the Project menu, select Reload Project and post the error here.
• This StackOverflow question is full of useful advice.
• Try deleting the obj folder under the bundle's project directory, then reload.

Hi Richard, thank you so much for your help. I reinstalled HeatWave. Deleted the entire tutorial directory and re-unpacked it from the zip file and everything is now working.
