Heltec V3.2 very dim display.

I didn't see any LCD contrast/brightness setting in the Igate firmware configuration settings.
The default firmware showed brightly and just fine when I first plugged it in, so I'm confident the hardware if good.
For a Igate I don't really need to see the LCD, but I'm curious what the problem could be?

there has been no change in the way all the screens work, but it is a good add to the display controls this variables you mention. Care to be beta tester with VSCODE + PLATFORMIO ?

Don't get too hot on this issue for sure just yet.
My Heltec V3 just died on it's first day, so there may be more hardware issues than I realize.

Edit: I have confirmed this is bad hardware. When replaced with a identical new V3 the LCD shows just fine.
