Make an automated tool to benchmark a given site

If:

• we know the CO2 emitted per gigabyte transferred in a given month
• have access to analytics tools to track how many pages are being viewed in a given month
• and we have tools to check the size of the pages making up the 80% of traffic (a la ecograder, speedtest etc.)

Then we can:

• We can work out some basic numbers that can be calculated each month, to give a rolling figure of CO2 emissions
• Provide a set of recommendations each month based on the aggregate stats. For websites we might look at popularity * page size, to work out monthly emissions.

I'm pretty sure the google analytics API will let us make a query which will list the pages that will make up the top 80% of page views.

If we can pass that through speedcurve/calibreapp/sitespeed.io/lighthouse, we should be able to identify the most effective steps to take to reduce bandwidth/emissions and improve load times.
