                    <abstract type="content" lang="eng">The Pro-Nursing Symposium held in Bonn, on June 24 2016, has provided an international forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of vocational learning, technology enhanced learning, and particularly vocational education in the domain of healthcare and professional nursing. Within the symposium a wide spread of researchers and practitioners from seven European states joined us for exchanging novel ideas and concepts toward shaping the future of education and learning, especially in the domain of nursing. The symposium target groups were human resource and knowledge management researchers and educators as well as vocational colleges, schools, universities, industries, and voluntary bodies.
