Beta: v1.5.5 — Weekly Roundup

What is new

Weekly Roundup — an optional, scheduled Discord post that summarizes new Jellyfin content from the last 7 days. Off by default.

• Configurable channel, weekday, hour, and embed color in the dashboard (Misc → Weekly Roundup)
• Items are grouped by library and episodes of the same series collapse into one line (e.g. "My Show — Seasons 1 & 2 (12 episodes)")
• Item titles link directly to Jellyfin
• Idempotent across restarts: a persisted timestamp plus an hourly scheduler tick make sure the post fires once per week even if the container restarts on the trigger day
• Sonarr/Radarr quality upgrades are filtered out via a stable-identity first-seen map (config/dedup-roundup-first-seen.json), so a re-imported file does not show up as "new"

How to try the beta

The dev branch ships as nairdah/anchorr:dev on Docker Hub.

1. In your docker-compose.yml, change the image tag from nairdah/anchorr:latest to nairdah/anchorr:dev.
2. Pull and restart:

   docker compose pull && docker compose up -d
   

3. Open the dashboard → Misc → Weekly Roundup, enable it, pick a channel, weekday, and hour, then save. Use Test weekly roundup to verify.

To roll back, switch the tag back to :latest and docker compose pull && docker compose up -d again. Your config is preserved.

Feedback

Please report anything weird here on this discussion or open an issue on GitHub. Especially interesting:

• Does the roundup fire at the configured weekday/hour after a restart?
• Are episodes/seasons grouped the way you would expect?
• Any items that should not have shown up (e.g. an upgraded file looking new)?
