Besides the main magnetic field strength (B0 strength) hardware-defined/fixed parameters are (all of them need to be further investigated regarding expected values and actual property name for us):
- Field homogeneity (uniformity)
- bore size (diameter, length)
- bore type (closed-bore, wide-bore, open-bore)
- for the built-in gradient coils (so they are hardware-defined/fixed components):
- maximum gradient strength
- maximum slew rate
- linearity region
- RF transmit system frequency range (fixed by design to Larmor frequency determined by B0)
- RF transmit power capability
- Coil interface
- Supported coil types
- Shielding and magnetic fringe field profile
- Cooling and cryogenic system
- Maximum imaging volume
- System calibration constants (center frequency offsets, gradient scaling factors, and RF gain reference values; however they can be adjusted during maintenance so maybe better in MRIScannerUsage)
- Safety limits (hard limits) (Maximum SAR (specific absorption rate), dB/dt limits, acoustic noise limits, and RF heating thresholds)
- Reconstruction hardware and architecture (processing units, memory, and real-time reconstruction pipeline are fixed and determine maximum matrix sizes, parallel imaging capability, and reconstruction speed)
