Working with templates from Clinical Knowledge Manager

Thanks for making available such a great tool.

This is rather an open-ended question: I was wondering whether templates from the CKM can somehow be used - unfortunately they are in XML format (both .oet and .opt), and, AFAICT, archie supports the ADL grammar..

Thanks for your issue! Actually I have been working on that. There currently is an experimental branch at #261 . It allows for the conversion of .opt to ADL 2 templates and ADL 2 OPTs. This is not release-ready yet, some features are missing and it is not tested enough, but the first couple of OPTs resulted in something that looked quite usable, and mostly validated.

In addition, it allows to parse the 1.4 OPT directly in the AOM 2, in a usable form, in case you do not switch to ADL/AOM 2.

So in case you want to experiment, this should already be possible since this week. It might take a while before this is ready to release, although we might release it as an experimental module first.

I just added a couple more features. It should now convert most OPTs. Will not be able to work on this the coming three weeks, so will be continued later.
