Frustrating issue - game wants me to travel with a useless party member

Description
My current game state (spoilers, obviously!): I recently reached level 1, and unlocked level 14. I unlocked greenhouse research, but don't yet have enough hope to research it, nor a source of herbs to build temples. My current goal is to continue exploring the lowest levels. I want to travel with a pack animal and animal handler, as I need to make long expeditions to reach the far corners.

Instead, whenever I go out, I'm required to bring Sunita with me, as she "wants to go exploring." When I explore with her, she doesn't have much to say, except that she wants to explore level 14. I've explored all I can of level 14 already - I'm blocked by high radioactivity that I can't pass with my current equipment. (I think I'll need a cleric to get further, and I assume I need a temple for that.)

Sunita's skill is finding blueprints, and I don't think there are any blueprints left to find in the areas I can currently reach.

So, it's not a game-breaking issue, but it's certainly frustrating that I'm required to drag along a party member that makes my currently available exploration goals harder.

If you still have this issue, could you share your save? It sounds like a bug where the game did not properly register you having gone to level 14 already.

Sunita has since left, and I've reached level 15... but my save might still be useful?

My save storyFlags has RESCUE_PASSAGE_UP_BUILT, but not RESCUE_LEVEL_14_HAZARD_FOUND.
Glancing through the code, I assume that's the cause of the issue?

EDIT: I should add I also have a party member with "Quest: Seeking the ground" even though I've fully explored the ground. Bringing them to the ground doesn't seem to do anything.
