Movement cost reduction not working anymore

Description
I only noticed just now. It's probably because the numbers are being rounded off. I remember last year when reduction used to actually work, when food and water in the inventory had fractions. Now I don't remember having once seen a decimal point there in my recent playthrough.

Thanks for the report. I am pretty sure the cost reduction works at least in some scenarios (just tested with Worn Trainers). Do you remember what equipment you had and where you were moving?

It was Improvised Flip-flops and (currently) Worn Trainers. I pretty much checked wherever I go, and not once have I seen my food and water go down by only a fraction; I always have to count them by how many blocks I'll move even with the Feeling Accomplished stat bonus.

Oh I see, yes food and water always cost 1, but shoes should reduce the Stamina cost. Maybe I just need to make that clearer in the tooltip.

Oh- no, I meant that I have to store/take food+water in exactly the amount of steps I'll make, because their costs aren't discounted at all. As in, it's not leaving me with a fraction of the resources, as if they were being rounded down, so I can't actually go more than 10 blocks with my 10 food/water even with shoes or status bonuses.

This is as intended, movement bonuses do NOT affect the food or water costs on movement, they only affect the stamina cost to move. Thus you will always need 10 food/water to move 10 tiles, but you will be able to go further overall because you can collect food-water as you go, but can't collect stamina...
