install for Debain

So I'm pretty new to Linux, running Debian for a game server. Trial and error!

how do I install Resources please? I have downloaded the *.zip and unpacked it, but not sure where to go from there

Hi, welcome to Linux!

The .zip you've downloaded is the source code, which won't get you far unless you want to build Resources yourself. :)

Resources is best used as a Flatpak. Debian does not come with Flatpak preinstalled, but you can follow the setup tutorial here: https://flathub.org/en/setup/Debian
After you've setup Flathub and restarted your system, Resources should show up in the graphical application manager of your choice (GNOME Software or KDE Discover most likely). Alternatively, you can also run flatpak install net.nokyan.Resources in a terminal to install Resources after you've set up Flathub.
