- Window Manager and Version: KWin version: 6.3.6
- Source of mpv: debian
- Latest known working version: none
- Issue started after the following happened:

Reproduction Steps

Reproducible with --no-config
Run mpv on the file and hold up or right key.

Expected Behavior

mpv goes to the end then exits

Actual Behavior

mpv gets stuck an instant before the end until the key is released
(how long before the end seems to depend on the file, the repro file gets <1s which would not be much problem but I've seen >2s which gets annoying)

Log File

out.txt

Sample Files

1416529-sd_640_360_30fps.zip

(from https://disk.sample.cat/samples/wmv/1416529-sd_640_360_30fps.wmv) (12s length)

I tried converting a bigbuckbunny to wmv (ffmpeg -i BigBuckBunny_320x180.mp4 -vcodec msmpeg4v3 out.wmv, msmpeg4v3 from what mpv says about the above sample file) and it didn't show the problem so it doesn't happen with all wmv.

I don't remember having this issue with non-wmv files.

I carefully read all instruction and confirm that I did the following:

  • I tested and confirmed that the issue exists with the latest release version or newer.
  • I provided all required information including system and mpv version.
  • I produced the log file with the exact same set of files, parameters, and conditions used in "Reproduction Steps", with the addition of --log-file=output.txt.
  • I produced the log file while the behaviors described in "Actual Behavior" were actively observed.
  • I attached the full, untruncated log file.
  • I attached the backtrace in the case of a crash.
