Playstation Plus.desktop will not run outside of steam

In desktop mode on steam deck

I launch Playstation Plus.desktop

KDconfig window pops up

I click on UMU + NonSteamLaunchers

PS Plus symbol briefly appears

PS Plus icon shows on right side of taskbar

Nothing else happens, full app fails to open

Can exit PS Plus by right-clicking taskbar icon
