Sometimes I cannot remember the exact name of an application, but I know what program category it should be in. Other launcher / menu widgets (like the default Application Launcher in KDE) have the option to show the applications by category, but Tiled Launcher only shows the list alphabetically.
The application categories are also useful after installing a new application, because the "new app dot" appears on the category, allowing the application to be quickly located.
Describe the solution you'd like
A configuration option that allows applications to be grouped by the category defined by the 'Categories' field in the .desktop app file, similar to the KDE Application Launcher widget.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using Tiled Launcher for commonly used applications or when I know what application name to search, and Application Menu widget when I need to look for the application by the category.
This is obviously less optimal than having the application categories within Tiled Launcher though.
