Feature request: Serial number manual/random change in settings support

Hello!
I have checked the changes you've made compared to the original BMCU SW and it really impresses :) Much respect from me!!!

One quite useful feature would be really nice to have. I've encountered an issue in the homeassistant integration for myself with the mix of multiple A1 minis with BMCU on each.
Since the HA is differentiating AMS by serial number - having the same on all BMCU is a problem, because the integration treats this as the same AMS and shows 8 slits for one, and not recognise the second BMCU as a separate device at all.

I have managed to make this work by adjusting the serial and recompiling everything on my machine, but that is not quite convenient. And as well other users, who don't have enough skills to find and adjust the SN in the code, could encounter the same problem.
It would be really good to have a possibility to adjust a SN somehow (maybe as an extra option in the parameters as you already made with the retraction length and colors) - manually type or random generate - that would make life for such users a lot easier. Thank you in advance :)

Hey. That would definitely increase the build time on my side. I could make a workflow for it, but I prefer building everything myself on the latest Debian.

The serial number is actually very easy to change - it is located in bambu_bus_ams.cpp in the long_packge_version_serial_number array.

To be honest, right now I am working on Orca Slicer so that it works with the latest Bambu firmware, along with a few other projects. If I find some time, I may think about some kind of firmware generator or something similar, but at the moment I really have my hands full with projects and work, and I simply cannot keep up with everything.

But maybe in the next firmware release I will add a random serial suffix that will be saved each time the buffers are calibrated.

I previously encountered the same issue as the original poster. I chose to randomly generate serial numbers based on the flash time when firmware flashing into BMCU to resolve this issue.

@jarczakpawel Thank you for the explanation. I think making a dynamic SN on each calibration can make things even more complicated, because in the original issue I described - it is tracking the BMCU by serial number. That means that each time you accidentally trigger recalibration will make HA think that this is new BMCU (with a different SN). So it should be static on the moment of flashing or assembly of the binary. The answer below offered actually a good solution.

@ygbh9527 Is it a huge change? Maybe you can create an MR for it here to share? :)

OK, so I’ll make it so that a serial number is created on every first launch.

At the moment, my firmware is pretty messy, because I’m working on the H2 printers. If I manage to finish it today, I’ll add that as well.

It’s on the "to do" list for the new version ;)

If you have less than 4 bmcu, you just need to flash the firmwares A B C D - they already have different serial numbers, and this should be enough for home automation.
