Once you have more than a couple variable tabs in the bottom left corner, it gets hard to navigate them. You have to open up the window really wide to see them all.
The drop down arrow to select a tab is nice, but in addition it would be great to have:
a) Being able to rearrange their ordering, with a move left / move right option when you right click on a tab. (Or be able to drag them left and right). This is also important, since the furthest left tab is opened by default on startup. So you could move them around to set their priority.
b) A hierarchy of tabs, where one tab could contain a couple other tabs.
c) The ability for the tabs to wrap around to a second row of tabs.
It would also be nice for the size of the variable entry panel to be remembered in the configuration so it shows up the same size next time you start. Maybe also save which tab was openened?
