Why not merge GWC REST API of issues #155 ?

I found it is well to add GeoWebCache REST API integration, why not make it well and merge it?

As far as I know, the project is dead, no further development is planned.

The latest update to this project was three years ago....

The source code is still here under a MIT license though... interested developers can just take it, fork it, and maintain it :-)
