Hi @charlescao460 — apologies this sat unanswered since April; the honest answer back then would have been "promising but unstable". Today it has a much better one:

v0.1.0 shipped as a pre-release today — prebuilt binaries for Linux, macOS and Windows, each bundle with setup guides for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Antigravity, Cursor and VS Code.

What "ready" means concretely at this point:

• Format fidelity: all footprint/symbol primitives are modelled against Altium-authored golden fixtures, and the test suite enforces byte-identical read-modify-write round trips of those goldens — plus an independent readability oracle (pyaltiumlib) in CI proving generated files actually parse.
• Coverage: 99% line coverage on production code, ~1,370 tests.
• Scope: 34 MCP tools — read/write, in-place editing, rendering previews, diffing, import/export, backups with restore.
• Supply chain: releases are built --locked from a signed tag with SLSA provenance attestations you can verify with gh attestation verify.

Honest caveats: it's a pre-release — the version number is 0.1.0 on purpose. The binaries aren't code-signed (SmartScreen/Gatekeeper will warn once; the attestation is the stronger check), and as with anything AI-assisted, generated footprints should be checked against the manufacturer's land-pattern drawing before fabrication. v1.0.0 lands when the remaining feature roadmap is done.

If you give it a try, a note about what worked or didn't — even a one-liner — is genuinely valuable at this stage.
