I have yet to verify the root cause of this error, but I have found temporary fix.
What's the bug?
When choosing NodeMCU V1 (ESP12E) from boards in Arduino, and uploading via LittleFS uploader v1.6.3, the device when detached from PC and connected to the circuit/motherboard (i.e. when not connected to PC) shows "No Data" when accessing the web server via browser. Even after repeated upload from ElegantOTA or via USB, the pattern remains.
How to solve temporarily?
Choose Generic ESP8266 in board, remember to select correct settings like Flash 4mb, CPU speed etc. Upload the code and filesystem.
This fix seems to be holding.
