Cooja GUI visual issue

Installed Contiki-ng/cooja on a new VM Ubuntu ver 22.04.3
when i run cooja with the Gfxs is "chunky" something like an old school gfxs driver issue i used to see.

more option i try the more the gfxs issues occur

Thought it might be my work laptop
So i tried my home PC and get the same problem

Any ideas on what this might be, or can i provide more information pls get in touch
not an issue with contiki 3.0 btw

This error usually occurs to those using virtual machines. You should either install the latest graphics card version and also driver compatibility is very important. Or you should abandon the virtual machine and install a real Ubuntu OS alongside the operating system. Cooja does not work effectively in the virtual machine anyway. Or you can increase the amount of RAM in the virtual machine.
