Hardware: ESP32-DIV V1 Board (purchased on tindie in Jan 2026)
Installation Method: Official Flashing App (cifertech.github.io/ESP32-DIV/)
Firmware Version: v1.7.0 (via default web button mapping)
Description
After a clean install of v1.7.0 using the official flashing application, I have been unable to use several features of this device:
- The SD card icon shows green, but attempting to use the SD File Manager tool freezes the device. The SD card icon is green the entire time
- Touch calibrate fails to register touch or save - touchscreen appears non-functional
- Serial Monitor freezes device (or requires touchscreen)
- Firmware update freezes device (or requires touchscreen)
- Sub Ghz Jammer freezes device (or requires touchscreen)
- Replay attack freezes device (or requires touchscreen)
- 2.4 Ghz scanner freezes device (or requires touchscreen)
- All NFC functions freeze device
- GPS functions appear to work, but no satellites appear
- Battery display is always 0%
- UI settings revert after reset
Reverting to v1.1.0 firmware changes the following:
- Battery display shows a percentage
- 2.4Ghz scanner functions
- Temperature icon now yellow
- SD card icon is red
- Settings icon is grayed out, and selecting it freezes device
- Touchscreen is now functional
