Like others have already stated the v28 firmware doesn't flash correctly.
In this case a Sidewinder X2 with TFT28 GD32F305. Putting the required files on the sd card results in the display of the usual "updating", "erasing SPI Flash" and "complete", that's it. It completely ignores the font and bmp files. No calibration either. A restart with or without sd card only shows the bootloader version, nothing else. Putting a reset.txt file on the card gives the same result.
Updated the Bootloader from v3.0.4 to v3.0.5 and still nothing.
Modified versions of this firmware flash just fine.
