KiCad library used in our projects. Main parts are generated using python scripts and input data from csv tables. This should give a very flexible base to add new symbols, footprings and parts.
All dimension are in millimeters/degree, if not otherwise noted.
- Pathnames are lowercase and separated with underscore. If structuring is permitted, use subfolders. Subfolders are not allowd in
symbols,modulesandpackages3d. - Symbol libraries are named lowercase and with underscore.
- Symbols are named uppercase as specified by manufacturer (e.g. BC517, 1N4148, 74HC595)
- Modules are named uppercase and separated with hyphen (e.g. SOIC-8, TO-92)
- All names for modules, packages3d and documents should be uniform. Otherwise they can not be found automatically.
