How to get started #noob question

Dear,

May i ask a/the question as a noob.
I ask this question as i didn't/couldn't find any documentation.
First some maybe relevant information.
I have Domoticz running on my Rapsberry Pi 4 to control my z-wave controlled lights/sockets and such, monitor p1 meter, pihole unbound.
I also have a SureFlap connect catflap which i want to automate by locking the cats in the garage when we aren't at home the garage is directly connected to my house/living.
The way i want to do so is by (correct me if i'm wrong) your Surepy, where i could sent a json or python call from domoticz to the sureflap hub to lock the flap, right?

What i did so far:
Installed surepy according the mainpage by doing "python3 -m pip install --upgrade surepy"
After that is pulled the git to my raspberry.
After this i get stuck and can't find any documentation on how to be able to use SurePy
