This is interesting. I wonder how we could solve this in the current structure. It sounds more like not a device, but a view where you can switch between tracks.

it could probably still work as a device. the main use case for multiple audio tracks being viewed is for mixing. so you have the input signal as one track and a second track from somewhere else. we already have the "sidechain" input from the compressor you could probably recycle. and usually you would have an EQ device to change the shape of the sound to fit better with the other audio signal

this would only allow two tracks to be compared but that is fine for me.

We can pull in more than one track for comparison. Just thinking now about how the UI can handle the load of new options.

The device should be able to use at least 2 input sources for the comparison. Maybe something like. Output of Track A, Output of Track B -> create 2 Layers to be able to compare?.

If it is a real analyzer it should be relatively precise, so maybe some axis decription might be useful. E.g. dB or percentage or something like this.
