Okay, I probably am asking something thats been answered but could not find it for the life of me.

Compiling firmware for a friend, so Ill have no access to his printer to connect to mine,.,.

Where does the finished, compiled firmware end up on the computer.. Or how to I upload it somewhere to send to him

The finished compiled firmware file name is "firmware.hex", and it's store under a sub-folder which is under the following Marlin folder "Marlin\.pio\build".
For example, on my setup where I'm compiling a Mega 2560 board, the full file name and path is: "C:\[MarlinBuilds-Using-MarlinConf]\MyMarlinBuild1\Marlin\.pio\build\mega2560\firmware.hex"

Under the same folder there's also a file called "firmware.elf". That file also gets built and might be needed on some targets and/or requirements.
