[Bug/Feature Request] New note creation behavior and rendering flicker in Reading Mode

I am experiencing two distinct issues while using the app with "Reading Mode" enabled in the settings.

​1. New note creation forces Reading Mode

• The Issue: When "Reading Mode" is set as the default in settings, clicking the + button to create a new note forces the editor into "Reading Mode." This creates unnecessary friction, as the user must manually click to switch to "Editing Mode" every time they start a new note.

• Expected Behavior: New notes should always default to "Editing Mode" to allow immediate entry of content, regardless of the global Reading Mode setting.

• Steps to Reproduce
  ​Set "Default view" to "Reading view" in Settings.
  ​Click the + button to create a new note.
  ​Note that the editing interface is not immediately active.

2. Rendering flicker when opening notes

​* The Issue: When "Reading Mode" is enabled, opening an existing note causes a brief, jarring performance lag/flicker. The app briefly displays the "Editing Mode" UI before snapping into "Reading Mode."

• Expected Behavior: The note should render directly into "Reading Mode" smoothly upon opening without flashing the editor UI.

• Steps to Reproduce
  ​ Set "Default view" to "Reading view" in Settings.
  ​ Open any existing note from the file list.
  ​ Observe the UI "jump" and performance lag as it transitions from Edit to Read mode.
