How to even get a token?

I follow instruction but token from personal account there is no headers tab in chrome.
When i try token for bot there is no application settings on developer portal??????

How to even get this token?

I am having a similar issue, I get to local storage, then discord, but there is nothing under "token" that matches. I have been trying a few things that show up but no luck yet

I was able to figure this out. Instead of doing what it recommends try this.

Open f12 console, go to the "network" tab, then click on a new channel you sent currently in. When it loads you should see a "message" item appear under network, click it and scroll down to authorization. The code there will work.
