Request: Filtering and sort by custom fields in Table view

I really love this plugin, but not being able to sort by and filter by my custom fields is a dealbreaker.

For my case, I have a category field where I can choose what "department" something is, if its art, code, design and so on, I also use a rationale field where I write the reason for the task being important, like if its a core element or something else. Would love to be able to both sort, but most importantly, be able to filter by all custom fields.

I hope this gets considered.
