I'd love to see an option where filters are dynamically changed based on defined custom fields.
E.g. I've made a type of field for software release version, and would love to be able to filter by it specifically.
I know this can be achieved already through tags, but I didn't want to crowd the tag selection with every single release entry.
Furthermore, this could be integrated in the Project settings itself, where each custom field could define if it should be visible in the filters or not. (if some custom fields are not applicable for the filtering system, they should not crowd the filters UI).
I think this feature would dynamically enhance the custom fields system we have currently, giving it much more power and flexibility (reducing the need for general field development in the future). :)
