The compass indicator rotates in the wrong direction. It also doesn't update its position until the user has stopped interacting. There is however and additional compass that pops up and displays the correct orientation of north and when clicked returns user to north. My suggestion would be to remove the faulty indicator. One issue however is that working compass displays in the shade pull area and only allows a small sliver of ingeraction and is obscured by my system battery level indicator.
Tested on both Android 17 without Google play services and unmodified IOS 26.3.1.
