Automatic Bluetooth connection

Hi!
When I had a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Lite, everything was great: I turned on the head unit and the phone instantly connected to the EHU32.

Now I have a newer model, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro, and every time I turn on the head unit, I have to go to: Settings - Bluetooth - EHU32 and connect. My wireless headphones still connect automatically.

Is it possible to do the same with the EHU32?!

I did experience that once - please remove EHU32 from paired bluetooth devices, then hold "9" on your headunit for about 10 seconds to clear the settings. When EHU32 restarts, it is going to display "Waiting for connection..." - navigate to bluetooth settings on your smartphone, then pair with EHU32 as usual. It should start reconnecting automatically each time you start the headunit.

It's some weird quirk of how the ESP32A2DP library stores its settings, not much I can do about that.

After rebooting the ESP32, the message "Waiting for connection" appears, followed immediately by the message "Bluetooth disconnected".

Okay, but if you attempt to pair at this point, does the automatic reconnect still not work?

Apologies for the delayed response. I believe you could try reflashing, but if that does not help my only recommendation will be to fully erase the ESP32 flash.
I have modified the flashing script a bit so that the flash is erased and only then it will flash EHU32. Note that it is two-stage now, so you'll have to hold BOOT0 twice when asked.

I flashed the file directly "ProgramESP32_Erase.zip".
This fixed the issue when connecting it on a table; now the phone connects immediately after turning on the head unit. Now I'm testing it in the car.
