Global Option Sets

Just thought to reach out and confirm that the PCF Control only works with Local Option Sets and not Option Set fields using a Global set of options?

As unless I'm wrong, if the PCF Control is connected to a Global Option Set, it will then not display on the Form.

Potentially I could create a Global Option Set version if a worthy extension? As otherwise, the control is great for bringing colour and icons into the Form.

I cannot follow. The PCFs are registered on the form, regardless if they are local or global OptionSets. They become the metadata from the Platform, and never heard that a OptionSet behaves different for a local or global one.

• Are you sure, that the control is not hidden because some other business rules or form scripting?
• It works, if you change it back to the standard one?
• Do you see some error messages in the console?
