IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE.

Trueforce For All drives the force-feedback motors of sim-racing wheels,
including direct-drive wheelbases capable of high torque. Improper
configuration, software bugs, or unexpected behavior CAN CAUSE PHYSICAL
INJURY or damage to your equipment.

This is a safety and liability notice. It supplements, and does not replace
or limit, the software's license. Trueforce For All is free and open-source
software under the GNU General Public License, version 2.0 (see LICENSE).
Nothing here restricts the rights that license grants you.

1. AS IS, NO WARRANTY. The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of
   any kind, as set out in the GPL-2.0 license. It is pre-1.0 software. It
   includes force-spike reduction and other safety-minded behavior, but these
   are NOT guaranteed to prevent dangerous force output in every scenario.

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. You acknowledge that using force-feedback wheel
   hardware carries inherent physical risk, including injury from sudden or
   strong wheel motion. You assume all responsibility for any personal injury,
   property or hardware damage, or other harm arising from your use of the
   software.

3. KEEP CLEAR. Keep hands, fingers, and loose clothing clear of the wheel rim
   when you are not in control of it.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no
   event shall the developer or any contributor be liable for any claim,
   damages, or other liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise,
   arising from or in connection with the software or its use, including but
   not limited to personal injury, property damage, damage to your wheel or
   other hardware, or loss of data.

5. OPEN SOURCE. This software is free and open source under GPL-2.0-only. You
   may use, study, modify, and redistribute it under the terms of that
   license; see LICENSE.

6. DONATIONS. The software is currently free of charge. The developer may
   accept voluntary donations, which are not a purchase and grant no
   additional rights, warranty, or support. The developer may offer paid
   versions or features in the future.

7. SEVERABILITY. If any provision of this notice is held invalid or
   unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

By installing or using the software, you acknowledge that you have read,
understood, and accept this notice.
