Gentoo |
| Kernel Version |
6.18.5-gentoo-dist (See Notes) |
If the turbo button is not working, what is the output of the command below when you press the turbo key?
The provided command does nothing on my PC, and I cannot find an equivalent.
ISSUE:
RGB commands (keyboard.py, facer_rgb.py, and the RGB_Config_acer-gkbbl-0_v0.5.1 GUI) do not change color or zone brightness, but they can change whole keyboard brightness.
NOTES
Kernel has upgraded since original post.
I also made a few changes to the scripts for compatibility.
The folder described for RGB support is named almost identically to mine, except it has an "-8" at the end of its name for some reason.
I added 516-51s to facer.c for compatibility, assuming it likely has the same quirks as 516-52s, the number of fans match.
I have tried with and without acer-wmi (and acer_wmi) in the modules-load.d, little to no difference to my knowledge. Will test more.
