How many bins are needed? #67

Hi,

I have some low complexity metagenomes (1-10 bins when using metawrap) and would like to re-analyse these samples with BASALT. The BASALT test is working correctly for me but when I run BASALT on my samples, I am getting some errors and I think this might be because of the low complexity. Could you please comment on the number of bins that are needed for BASALT to work correctly. If I have 1 bin (almost complete >95%), should the BASALT run still work correctly? What is the minimum number of bins for a proper analysis? I am quite new to metagenomics. Any insight would be really appreciated! :)
