Description

Takes used short keybindings and interferes with system shortcuts.
For example, zooming in and out, and showing hidden files.
Needs to use unassigned shortcuts, and shortcuts that are not taken by other standard apps, like the Finder and web browsers.

see attached bindings I set. Many of the apps defaults are already taken, and it does not consider this.

You can customize or clear any shortcut in the settings — clicking on a binding lets you reassign it, and setting an empty shortcut will unbind it entirely, which should help avoid conflicts in the meantime.

We hear you on the broader issue. In a future release, we plan to:

• Add conflict detection when assigning shortcuts
• Reduce the default bindings to only core functions
• Leave other actions unbound by default, so users can assign them freely
