If they output volts, it's likely they have an internal burden resistor, which means you would just have to cut a jumper on the back of the board to disable the on-board burden for that current channel. You'll have to calibrate them to the meter. If you later get CTs that output in mA, then you can solder the jumper back together. Either way, plugging them into the meter won't damage the meter since they're low output. |

FYI if anyone like me comes here looking for if these work. They work great, a little big but they are 50A so guess that's to be expected. I had to cut the trace on the board to disable the burden resistor and for my setup using 45917 was the calibration number I ended up with. I also had to purchase some headphone aux cables. They were 3 wire and I used the red and black wires on the aux cables. |

Can I use Emporia Vue Large CT clamps with this board? From what I can find online the CT clamps output .33 volts but I cant find its mA output or if I need to cut the built in burden resistor. I am hoping to use them till I can source large enough CT clamps to fit around my input wire size but I am willing to plug it in and try but I don't know if plugging it could potentially damage the board.
