Can I suggest a nifty feature inspired by ranger's :flat

A toggle that makes only files visible, no directories. These files are from multiple levels down the hierarchy.

Useful when there are few files spread in many sub-directories.

It could potentially also take an argument like :flat 3 to view 3 levels down, instead of all. With no argument should view all.
